Custom A2000

Postby glove-works » October 19th, 2008, 7:32 pm

Just experimenting with a new custom made Trap web I have. Converted this new A2000 from a std dual hinge to Mod Trap. I am quite pleased with the results.

Looks great!
Lots of lace holes from that dual-hinge web pattern!
That glove would look incredible with red laces!

extra lace holes, but laying out a diagram prior to lacing works well.

I was able to use all the original holes without the use of any any dummy laces.

I thought about colored lace....The yellow embroidery and labels limited the options.....might try some yellow or royal?

Did you borrow the web from another glove, or did you make it yourself, from scratch?

JC,
I'm with you re: the red laces! Tanner's Cardinal Red laces against the black leather would be an AWESOME combination!

That looks fantastic! I love that look, especially the creative way you used the lacing along the sides. Too bad Wilson (or anybody else), doesn't offer a glove with that webbing, especially a 12.75. I would be all over it .

Great job!

Kudos Glove-works...

I have been doing that for years...the Mod-Trap web lasts virtually forever, and is rather easy to break in.

For my own preference, I like to go with the Tanner's Cardinal Red with those all black gloves...they look like they could catch and throw all by themselves.

I have also found that the way to save a basket-webbed glove (when the web becomes too deep to play with) is to change over to the Mod. Trap.

Nicely done

Very nice.

I really like the dial fit system A2000 that used to be a dual hinge. I was thinking about getting one myself, but I went with a custom HOH. The tain one looks nice too, what web used to be on it, a dual hinge?

Both were originally dual hinge webs.

I would love to know where you got that custom made Mod-Trap web for the Black Custom A2000.

I have never seen one stitched like that. It looks extra classy.
