Rawlings PRORV23B

Postby yankees23 » October 16th, 2008, 6:39 pm

Just picked up this used Rawlings PRORV23B. It's the nicest feeling glove I have had on my hand in nearly 20 years. I guess I forgot what a real quality Horween Leather felt like. After receiving this glove today I don't know if I will ever buy a new Rawlings glove that is not Horween again.
Glove is a 12 1/2 but is not bad at all seems more like a 11 3/4 or 12.
This is my 13th Rawlings glove between my son and myself and other than my Rawlings USA made PRO-TB none even come close in quality and they are all high end gloves.

I got the same glove from Don Mortons. I loved it. It felt great and had an easy break in.

yankees23, that is a beautiful glove. Any chance you can show us a pic with a 12" softball in it? My daughter is a huge Robin Ventura fan, and if this glove can accommodate a softball, she would probably love to have one.

The glove is a great glove for softball infield. When I get home today I will take a shot with a softball in the pocket.

I would also love to see that with a softball in it. Looking at the baseball picture..the baseball looks like an aspirin in that glove.

That glove may be perfect for softball/infield.

Here you go guys. I think this should give you an idea. I have quite a few new Rawlings gloves and this honestley is one of the nicer models I have seen and felt. Feel free to ask any other questions before buying one.

Thanks so much for the pics! Looks roomy in there with that softball. May be an ideal glove for third...hmm, maybe I can break it in for her.
