Rawlings glove patterns - Maybe Doc can answer

Postby Dennis Segrue » October 11th, 2008, 11:58 am

Can anyone tell me what the differences are in the 11 1/4 glove patterns: PRONP2, PRONP3L AND PRO88? Specifically, my son is getting ready to order a glove on the Rawlings web site and wants the 11 1/4 model with the shallowest pocket.

Thanks

PRONP2- 11 1/4" Pattern shallow and wide pocket. Great 2B glove.
PRONP3- Similar to the NP2 pattern, 11 1/4 standard size with flat pocket, but the modified conventional back.
PRO88- Deep and Narrow. More of a pitcher's pattern than an infielder. For pitchers who like a smaller glove.

What's the difference between a PRODJ2 and a PRONP4 besides the webs?
