Thanks sped!
Not being a Manny fan, I prefer to call them "Aaron Rowand" laces.

I hear that next year Rawlings may let doc do the tan ones also. I like the camel but we'll see how it looks when it ages.

Ok, Here's my custom PRO-1000HC. It's lovely.

Then here's my custom PRO-1005BFB. Also nice.

Has anyone had or seen an HOH in gray? Wondering what it looks like over time. Also, has anyone seen a LHT HOH with a pro I web that was not a custom? My next glove (someday)

On the Taiwan baseball site, there are 2 Zett gloves that I really like.I'm wondering what kind of quality they are. One is a white and black I web type glove on page 1 and there's an all black Zett single post that is really sharp on page. Both are under $150.

zett from taiwan

Postby splinters » October 14th, 2008, 2:13 pm

Some of the Zett gloves look nice but I would stay away from the Oxhide gloves...the Steerhide is leather I would go with....On my customs....I have 6 that are steerhide and 2 that are the U.S. Kip...I really can not tell much of a difference...All very nice cuts of leather...very stiff as well......the one custom I did that has the ox blood and black color combination is great...looks and feels just like the HOH ox blood but not as heavy or oily.

zett

If I was going to order one of the zett gloves I would go with the steerhide like this one:

Zett

Postby JC » October 14th, 2008, 3:01 pm

I just saw a Zett Pro Status glove at a local shop. I was really impressed. The glove has great leather, super thick, and VERY stiff.
I had a hard time leaving the store without buying the glove!

There are so many Zett models for sale on that tw site. If any of them are like the Pro Status, they are a steal at under $150!!

Custom made web....

Postby fredderf » October 14th, 2008, 3:57 pm

I actually have been playing around with Making custom made webs for a few years. I have started selling some recently. Started with Just relacing. Than adding custom finger sleeves, and now cutting leather, punching the holes and designing new webs. See picts.

Please send along any feedback, I'll post new designs as they are created:
