No I'm pretty sure the A-rod gamer went for around $10,000. The guy also had a Giambi which went for like $1500 and another one that sold for around 5, I think. I can't find the news story anymore, but I think someone copied and pasted it in here under the vintage glove thread. The guy checked the hell out of the glove too , to make sure it was not stolen or anything.

Well then, guess I was wrong. Good research.

I'm talking about the autographed mesh-back, not game used. There's one up now with a Buy It Now of $1500.

I remember when the mesh backs could only be found on low-end gloves. How does the shape of that back hold up over time? I imagine the glove is lighter and cooler, but I'm old fashioned and like the all leather gloves. Glove tech has really advanced since the 1980s, but I am fighting it every step of the way!

I'd love to see the hinged single post in an HOH infielder's glove though. That looks like a great design.

All of my mesh back HOH's are considerably lighter and hold up really well.

You can't order custom gloves for other people, but you can order as many as you want and try to sell them? It's the same thing. What do you think is going to happen? Maybe they won't take your money anymore?
