THOSE INTERESTED IN MIZUNO JAPAN GLOVES GROUP BUY !

Postby dodgerblue » September 16th, 2008, 1:52 pm

i have been speaking to shigeko at www.us-sports4world.com about the possibility of a group buy like a member mentioned in the mizuno thread last week, he is busy trying to get something together for us but never doing a group buy before he needs some general info to gauge interest to help narrow things down , i know its difficult not having any guide -models and price wich is the next step but this is to gauge interest in custom or stock gloves as he may do one of the two , any other specifics like inf. or outfield pattern if known would help also , i would like to see this come to reality for all as i see this as a rare opportunity to purchase some of the best gloves made but not offered to us here in the us. so if you would place a post underneath with your interest of stock or custom then any other general info-specifics you may be thinking of -glove size-pattern - inf. or outfield that would help get this rolling !! pm or email me with any q,s or suggestions you may have .

Count me in, too. I'm also looking at an 11.5" model. I'd prefer a custom (based on either the Arai or the Tejada), but I'd also consider a stock glove.

Mizuno Japan glove order

Postby akmike » September 16th, 2008, 9:48 pm

I would like to order a Glavine model in a navy blue if possible. If we could get some reasonable pricing count me in!

It's a really entertaining thought. I can go for a nice 11.25.

thank you for the info guys ,he emailed tonight and we are trying to narrow it down to see what can be done ,i reccomended he place 2 lines up if he is able to do only stock models ,the top 2 lines are victory stage and mizuno pro limited ,they commonly have 2 versions of the mizuno pro limited sold in japan ,one made in japan and the other made in china but with japan patterns of coarse - models not avaliable to us , if he does a custom type group buy it may be limited somewhat - to what extent we will find out as he is deliberating with mizuno japan on some details ,ill keep you guys posted ,in the meantime keep posting info or idea,s or interest you may have !!

I would really be interested in getting a GMP6 but in a size 12. I like the Mizuno single post, in design and look, better than the Rawlings even though I considered myself a Rawlings guy all the way.
