The human vacuum has gone to the A2000 after all these years. A picture proves it! Image

Thats just wrong :?
- A baseball glove is a beginning and an ending: a boy's first sure step towards manhood; a man's final, lingering hold on youth; it is promise...and memory.

The last time I saw him was in Arizona spring training early 90's At that time he was making the rounds of the camps hawking the Spalding pump glove. He must not have taken care of his money to have been doing that. If you can imagine perhaps the best ever trying to get Pro's do wear that...Gotta be money

you would think that Rawlings would just keep him in gloves so that a photo op like this one does not get put out. Heck if I were Brooks (and there is no mistaking that!) I would be more than willing to be an ambassador for Rawlings.

I was just a joking guys when I posted that picture. He is part owner of a minor league team the Blue crabs .The fans were coaxing him to play a little bit of third base again and the kid playing third surrendered his glove to Brooks as a gesture. He just slipped it on to play along. Just a little poking and ya'll are lethal!!!! I think he's doing fine financially as a public speaker and such. I'll tell you one thing about him My son wrote him a letter and in three days!!! he got a hand written response back from Brooks himself. I Got a chance to get to know him in the late 70's and I was just a kid and He still remembers the encounters ( which shocked me to death) almost 30 years later? He was someone a kid could look up to then and now.
