HOH Pro 1MTC thumb loop

What can you guys tell me about the thumb loop on a Pro 1MTC? Where is you thumb supposed to sit when your hand is in the glove? Is it large or small? How much adjustment does it provide for the thumb?

I recently had one re-built and am not happy with the thumb loop. It seems to not support the thumb at all and actually covers the bottom of the thumb to the palm of my hand. It is also attached to the glove close to where the wrist opening is rather than tucked inside.

Any help would be great.
