And I concur with the pitcher's eye picking up the white on black quickly. That's the first thing I thought of when I saw the mitt!

Interesting Mizuno you found. I go back and forth on this mitt I did. Sometimes I think it looks kind of cool, and then I look at it and think the white lace looks gimmicky- like it cheapens it or something. Maybe it’ll grow on me.

I must say the reaction from the forum has been better than I anticipated. I expected very negative reviews. When I saw the responses coming in, I was almost afraid to look. :lol:

I personally love the white on black color scheme. Another option would be to do the team color. Black lends itself to a lot of options.

My school colors were black and yellow. It would have been awesome to see that behind the plate with some yellow laces in it.
