japan made custom mizuno

Postby dodgerblue » September 5th, 2008, 3:03 pm

this is my second purchase from shigeko with us-sports4world.com , an ichiro pattern y-web deep blue and silver made of european kip , i went with the med. size -firm heel similar to my mzp-82 , note the space between the index and middlefinger along with a bit smaller pattern size etc. compared to the us-version ichiro -gmp7 counterpart , i believe the gzp-52 was the last true ichiro version avail to the us, the wide deep pockett , a bit shorter and lighter makes it a fav. of mine for softball ! will get more pics up soon ! Imagendations ? ImageImage

Photobucket is pretty easy. Do the "img" , paste the link from photobucket (the one from the "direct link" box), then "img" after.

no problem. It only took me 4 months to figure it out myself. And I say it's easy

In Photobucket, click on the box that says IMG Code (4th down under the photo). A little box will pop up that says "copied". Now go and post your reply on this forum and put the link in the post - you can do this by right clicking with your mouse and choosing "paste" or you can use the keys Ctrl and v at the same time on your keyboard ( shortcut for copy). Very easy once you know how!

Not to be blunt, but what did you pay for this one in the end? They look cool, but quite expensive :?

no worries about being blunt its on the website and open to the public ! i spent a little over 500 on this glove ,it was difficult for me to justify early on but over a couple months i put some money away under the wifes radar !i actually purchased 2 other gloves prior to saving for this custom wich in both accounts i was not happy with either and the 2-300 price tag on them -i couldnt find what i really wanted in the us offerings ,i figured i keep my gloves for years and want a glove i get excited to put on .

So, I’m curious…Did the wife’s radar go up with the glove in the house? Or is the glove itself under the radar while you formulate a plan?

Good luck, dude!

classic , i will have the glove mon or tue ,shigeko took pics prior to shipment , fact is she purchased a gmp7 for me for my birthday after hearing i was thinking about purchasing an ichiro glove while talking to my brother ,she had no idea i was speaking about this custom glove pattern , in the end she said she wouldnt take it personally if i sold it to purchase a blue one ! yes , simple terms = blue glove , not japanese made custom kip leather glove in the ichiro pattern , that would have rang some bells.

Beautiful glove. That's cool how you got it in dodger colors. I'm single now but I know if I was married the wife would flip if she saw the 10 gloves in the softball bag
