Wilson A2000 1787 Pro-Stock (Japan)

Postby Chicago Red Sox Fan » August 19th, 2008, 8:22 am

I bought this gove for my son but he has appears to be making the transition from 2nd base to centerfield.

This is a magnificent piece of leather, I would say the craftsmanship compares favorably with any other glove that I have seen. But I collect made in the USA gloves and this one was made in Japan so if it isn't going to be used, it's going to be traded or sold.

Interested? Let me know.

Wow, that's one of the best looking Wilson's I have seen in a while. Is that the 11 3/4" model or 11.5" ?

It is sweet. It's more like a 10 3/4 - 11 1/4 glove.

What are you looking for in return for this one? Cash or trade?

I've got $220 in the glove - I'm not looking for a profit if someone on the forum wants the glove (but I'm not interested in losing anything - especially after shipping or paypal fees -either).

Trades? Always interested in mint made in the USA Rawlings, Wilsons and Nokonas.

It is a great glove!

looking for a similar glove???

Postby upthemiddle » August 28th, 2008, 12:16 pm

calling all glove experts!!! I once had an A2000 glove very similar to this one, about an 11 or 11.5, exactly all of the same features.....only difference is that it had a finger hood which was very unique at the time for a small fielders glove, well that's the reaction I got from all those that checked my glove out! I wanna say I purchased it in the early to mid 90's. Unfortunately my son lost it a few years ago at one of his little league games, and when I saw this glove it brought back all the painful memories and how much a miss this glove! So I've been on a mission to find one like this!!! Anyone have one, seen one or a photo of one???
