Rawlings date codes

Postby ENRI26 » August 4th, 2008, 12:24 pm

I just bought a Rawlings Pro-H with a date code of OBE01.
How do you determine the date by this code?
Can someone please break this down for me?

The date code "KEC01" is it April of 1985 or April of 1995??? Mitt is all horween leather to include the inside. When did Rawlings stop making Horween leather gloves?

I believe the date codes ran from 1987-88 to 99. Not sure about this but that is the idea I have. So, yours would be 1995.
