Some catchers mitts I have found

Postby wapplemac » June 5th, 2008, 3:04 pm

Hi, I know I will need to get the source book if I am to continue to buy gloves at yard sales, but, I was hoping that I could get some info on 3 mitts I bought last week. 1. Rawlings, MJ57, Professional model, Earl Williams [sig]. 2.Wilson, A2522, twin action, Jeff Torborg. 3. Barkers, Sportron, made in Japan. This mitt is very well made, but, I have never heard of it before. All 3 are in real good but used condition. I am not really a collector, but I see many gloves at sales, and just recently have been buying them. I have many more to chech out but thought I would start with the mitts.

Thanks RCM

Thanks for the info. The more I find out,the less I know.I really had no idea the scope of this field of collecting.
