09 was Tenn. Tanning, our own tannerey but they only made HOH for a short time. shouldn't be an 00 have no idea what it means. I guess that my inspectors weren't doing much that day

Thanks Bob. I'm guessing the seller has got a typo in his auction. The USA7 gloves I have seen had REB09 date codes so I am betting this should be OEB09 as this is a USA9 glove.

Boy you hate to look behind every door for crooks but who knows. I was on the road the summers of 81,82, and 83 calling on and worh=king on pro gloves so I can't say the plant didn't put them out, but they were veteran stampers and not Prone to leaving numbers off. on earlier post I failed to mention that code 09 was our own tannerey

i don't think the 00 gloves were HOH's. if my memory serves me, i think they were american series gloves without the circle R.

i think the pinkie numbers were USA 7(?)

aw ha my memory is returning, those were made from not so perfect HOH nothing wrong with it just color shades and such. But I did remove most of the lining add put in cheaper padding, also removed a label ( you know a nickel here and a nickel there pretty soon big bucks ha) The leader of this was our own VP Mike Seawel ( ok who knowswhat he does now ?)

man that was too easy He left us to start his glove company. Was a nice man and fun to work and travel with to say he took a few Rawlings patterns would be an understatement but shoot VP's can do that ha.
