colored gloves

I have 2 HOH, one is a red and blue PRO -RM43 and the other is an all blue PRO200-4JR(pedro model). Especially on the blue one the dye seems to be rubbing off on the ball as I am playing catch. Is this normal (first colored gloves I've owned) and is there something that can help? Also, does anyone know what leather is used in these gloves? Is it Horween or something else? Thanks everyone! I got both of these very slightly used and still in need of lots of breaking in and all I've used on them is Lexol.
