Small Rawlings USA Collection

Postby oakfan33 » October 20th, 2007, 12:11 pm

I just thought I'd share my small Rawlings USA collection with everyone. One is a brand new PRO-2MTC that I can't even get myself to catch a ball with. The other three, I or my son can take out and use anytime. That's what I love to do. I'm working on making the collection bigger. Image

Those are great gloves! I love the Rawlings Trap and Modified Trap webs.

I used to be a Wilson guy, through and through, and I still love my George Brett A2124, but lately I have come to really appreciate the Rawlings brand. Now, my Rawlings collection outnumbers my Wilson collection!
Yes, I still have my first glove.

Hi Oakfan,

HOw do you like the 12TCB compared to the other gloves? I don't have one and was wondering if I should pick one up...

That new PRO-2MTC is a thing of beauty. That tone of tan is beautiful on gloves especially with grey welting. It makes a great contrast of colors. Wish Rawlings would release more tan gloves like they used to.

Mike_2007,

My PRO-12TCB is so perfectly broken in, the glove just closes around a baseball upon impact. The leather is soft but not floppy. The leather has held up very well. This is my favorite glove, second to the PRO-2MTC. It's been totally re-laced and had new bindings all around done by Kenny Jenkins. My 12 year old son loves this glove also and wants to use it.
