What's the most expensive retail glove?

Anyone have any idea about what is the most expensive retail ball glove available, factoring in retail discounts? No pro stock. I'm sure USA mades
will be a little more costly figuring in labor costs.

Where does Nocona fit in? What is their highest priced model?

Thanks Splinters. Question: are the Rawlings and Mizuno series you mentioned all USA made?
I believe Nocona's Buffalo gloves are suggested retail at about $320 at the high end. Cowhides in the pro series are less, about $230 on the high end.
And we're talking about gloves, not mitts.

Mizuno does not make gloves in the USA.

The only Rawlings gloves made in the USA are the customs they just started making for Eastbay.

I knew Mizuno did make gloves in the USA, small little shop in Georgia but understood they closed this down. Wonder, the why the high price on the Mizuno ? Guess costs in Japan are high too.
So the Rawlings gloves we're talking about are custom jobs right? Which require more attention, detail and labor. Was wondering just about stock
ready gloves highest prices.

Mizuno has a newer glove plant in Shanghi and I think this is where their gloves are coming from, not Japan. I think most companies price higher end gloves on market conditions not necessarily by cost.

NoKona can not consistently get Pro Preferred prices even though they may have more costs associated with the manufacturing process. Because their quality of their glove does not match PP in most people minds and their brand is not as strong as Rawlings.

Rawlings Gold Glove Series gloves retail for less than half of most HOH’s. There is no way that HOH’s cost twice as much to produce. The Gold Glove is just a price point type glove and Rawlings accepts a smaller margin.

The Primo’s price is no way related to costs but much more related to market conditions. When Rawlings came out with the Primo they were looking for the top of the market to see if anyone would bite because the PP had surprised them by how well it sold. If the Primo’s sell above expectations look for new gloves with higher price points.
