Wilson A2000 Glove Coasters

Postby worldwin » August 17th, 2007, 10:31 pm

Here are some Wilson a2000 glove coasters that I picked up about 4 years ago.

Image

The coasters are about 5 inches at the widest point, and are made out of leather, with a plastic foam back.

Have you ever re-laced a Wilson Catfish Hunter A2005? If so, you know that the padding, or should I say, lack-there-of, is made up of a plastic foam material, which feels like the stuff on the back of the coasters.

I am not sure how old they are, but I am thinking that they may be from the early '60's.

Let me know if you have seen this type of item before.

WW,

I suspect that these are fake and will be happy to take these off your hands for $5.

...A2 Brute'?

WorldWin,

... can do $6.50 shipped. Not a penny over $6.59.

I had some of these when I was a kid and they are not that unique or special.

...just kidding, naturally.

Did you know Julius Caesar may have been an early ball glove collector? Didn't he utter the famous line...."A2, Brute?" in Shakespeare's play, just before he passed?
