The ability to be able to dog-pile the Sox is icing on the cake.

Assuming John Lacking and his boozing boys will challenge Bobby's new club- house ban at some point ...

Man, I'm coming up with blanks on this one. By the way, it is apparently Nap lajoe being awarded with $1,000 silver dollars.

He was a shoe-in

After his bride-to-be left him standing at the altar, Nap Lajoie decided to marry his bat.

Most players were not happy with the new, larger strike zone.

Pinata Day at the ballpark.

The outlook wasn't brilliant for the Mudville Nine that day;
The score stood four to two, with but one inning more to play,
And then when Cooney died at first,...
He spoke at his own memorial service

Nice ones, Scott, and the strike zone one was thinking out of the box.

Taxidermy staues scared the kids so they replaced them with bronze replicas instead.

After putting down Smuckers in her final Derby, race officials scramble to find a replacement at Winner's circle.

A lot of folks laughed at Naps' Kooky time machine, but there was a lot of crow eating that day as he stepped out of that portal on June 4th.

In other Dodgers news, another parking lot incident claims........... what? Too early? :oops:

Nice ones, and no I don't think it's too sooon on the Dodgers parking situation. If nothing else as a public service warning. The time machine one was clever for the date range drawn on in what looks to be Crayola.

Thanks! Really enjoyed reading all the earlier ones (Danica/Pinata day/under the bus to name a few) got a chuckle out of me.

With that:

And this year's winner of the Thomas Davenport, new inventor, Silver Magnet Award goes to...Nap...Laj (pause)...Lajue....Lagew..Lajoe and his aluminum bat.
