Looks can be deceiving my friend, that classy lady is attached to one of those rappers' whips. Got Rusty hangin' with some "street toughs". Hear his street name is Mr. Bling Bling!

Naw, you gotta hot hand.

Uh-oh. Hope he doesn't end up as a grille on some gangsta's teeth.

Not one Gehrig Iron Horse reference? ... or was that just too easy? Some creative ones -- and liked the separate gold league reference and classy lady pic -- but am pretty sure that the gangsta rap references aren't exactly period correct.

She never could connect with him and break through his hard external armor.

Oh, welcome aboard CAPTION CAPTAIN. I didn't realize we were going to scrutinize for accuracy. Therefore, a BROMANCE, is between two males thus the BRO in it. Carry on!

If you are defensive about that little factual assistance, I guess it's safe to say you probably aren't going to be thrilled when I suggest that you probably don't need to repeat what they say in a quote if you are immediately following them (or when it is obvious), or that adding an omicron or several to EVERY post is sort of redundant, or that a caption contest should have a caption every now and again. Love and kisses! :P :D  :!:

Surprised I didn't get a "Our poor youth" comment in there, but it's cool. We'll see what happens in the future.

Couldn't remember what the marvel comic silver super hero dude's name was and mistakenly went to the http://www.silverswimmers.com/ website. All I can say is don't go to the USA video or you will be scarred.

Greg, please don't stop. I've enjoyed your jokes and riffing with you. Keep em' coming. Rob is my bro. We're just 2 competitive sonofaguns sometimes. As much as he hates to admit it. In the old days we'd hit batting practice on our visits. I'd bean him. He'd hit it up the middle and pinball me. We'd bicker. Typical day. BTW, I'm thinking of going to the Chicago National next year and would like to hook up with Joel and you if you can. Let's make it happen.

Rob, the Silver Surfer is the comic. The same as the Pittsburgh Steelers I couldn't get it to fit. BTW, the patched palm came today. MONSTER!

HARDHEADED player.

Oh no, I don't hate to admit I'm a competitive sonofagun ... I'm proud of it! On the smallest of things, too, but that had nothing whatsoever to do with the moral obligation I had regarding previous historical period correctness (I'm just saying). This old rusty guy taking you deep to all fields in BP on the otherhand WAS. :P

And yes, HARDHEADED player is now an instant classic.

After retirement from the game Rusty never could quite get on with his life.

LOL! That's great! Although, I'm curious what is going on in the background. I say if we don't use "The Thinker" as the trophy than we use that guy. Look at the melon on him!

During the big game, Rusty appeared stiff and robotic in his movements!

The HEAVY-HANDED Rusty was always error-prone.

Rusty's love for the game remained galvanized though he was often taken for granite.

It's the later innings fellas ... let's see a strong finish!

Because he was quite the prankster and usually came through in the clutch, it was generally believed -- and later confirmed in the "moon over Miami" incident -- that he had brass balls. That probably had something to do with needing to plant him at first.

And with more help from metal bands:

Big Balls - ACDC
