"Didn't I tell ya, Lefty? A couple of gag gloves and we're the next Abbott and Costello."
"You and your harebrained money making schemes...I oughta slap you up with this thing."
"Hey, you got it! That's the act in a nutshell!...Hey, Abbott! {SLAP} oww! I mean Hey, Lefty! {SLAP SLAP}...oww!"

Great ones!

Getting ready for the BIG GAME

Continuing on:

You know your glove is too big when:

The outfielders on the field tell you to put it down because they can't see the batter.

You just trade it straight up and the deal is called a Monster trade

Your display case looks like this...

Back atcha Mr. Bulldog. Yeah, this is some contest ain't it? You nail a good one, then Jerry does, then Scott, Brett, William... even Rob, sometimes. Boy, then the pressure's on. Looking thru the paper for something, anything...calling in a favor from an old pal who used to write gags for "The O.C." Blasted CEC toyin' with ya...yeah, pal, caption writing ain't for sissies!
Just sweated this one out...

"See, Mickey, when the BIG HAND is up here and the little one is down there by my pocket, it's time for your supper. Got it now?"
"Yeah, I guess so. What am I eatin' again? Gosh, I hope it's fried chicken. And those little potatoes."
"Tater tots?"
"Yeah...mmmm...tater tots..."

Even Rob sometimes? Maybe you weren't aware that the CEC gave me the Gold Standard award, and lets' not forget the immortal words of Kanye West, caption master.

Yessiree, a beautiful big brain figural trophy that I display with my Spalding trophies.

I get your point, though, that it wasn't necessarily earned in Caption 5 (though some of my entries were pretty solid). I'll probably have to forward the C5 certificate to someone else as the CEC prematurely sent me the C5 certificate along with the earned C1-C4 certificates. I think they just assumed I'd keep the streak going.

Nice to see you finishing strong, laddy, certainly no laurel resting there. Your Bill Walton quote comes to mind ... such the inspiration:

Glove Henge (a la Spinal Tap with mistaken dimensions)
Honey, I shrunk the A's
White elephant gifts
Just a HUGE #1 and #2
Now that's a big ace
