Those protectors show up a few times a year. Definitely a cool variation.

A lady found this sweater at an estate sale, made the purchase and placed it in an ebay auction

http://api.viglink.com/api/click?format ... 0321004388

She was contacted by a collector who told her what the item was and how much it was worth.

She pulled the auction and contacted the owner of Net 54 who put it out to his members who gave their opinion.

Sweater was sold to a private buyer for a 5 figure number

Why didn't the collector who informed the lady about its worth(no disrespect) inform the estate sale how much it was worth before the sale?( to make everything fair in a fair world)
When is it okay to get a really good deal?

Definitely worth picking up - over an hour of great baseball songs. Here they are ripping thru one of the new songs at SXSW

I think I read a while back that two guys from R.E.M (not Stipe) joined in on this album. True?

Yes, both Mike Mills and Peter Buck are members of the band. When one is not available the other stands in and so on

The Library of Congress' National Recording Registry has unveiled its latest crop of inductions. Among the 25 eclectic recordings deemed "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant"

Includes

Lawrence Ritter’s Interviews With Baseball Pioneers of the Late 19th and Early 20th Century (1962-66)

A great choice

That VW is kinda cool and I remember them when I was young during the gas embargo of the 70's... People would go into panic if that happened now. I need a help from glovers on here, I sent a pic of papaws tractor complete with a glove via text message to some of you guys. as you all obviously know by now that I am stuck in the 19th century with computer skills, could someone post that on here for me??? My Pretty Sharon said I look kinda sexy driving it.... Damn fine tractor, I need all the help I can get!

And on the same topic, a neighbor GAVE me a 30 inch 1920's belt driven BUZZ SAW!!! yep, a death trap fer sure, BUT... Looking for a Dudley Doright hat for when I fire that bad boy up, in pieces now, and a challenge for the Drokester. Never a dull moment in the hills of East Tenn.

Pretty sweet ride, Murph. They're getting scarcer each year. Someone, I think it was a dealer, had a spot window bus parked in Brimfield last week. Looked like they were living in it. A few weeks back I nearly broke my neck when a split window Beetle drove by on the way to the beach. It'd been years since I last saw one of those.
