This one is interesting. A Wilson & Co. counter display. It was fairly expensive at about $400. I had no idea Thomas E. Wilson kept his meat packing business intact into the 1960's at which time it was sold. The Wilson & Co. logo is very close to the Thomas E. Wilson sporting goods logo. The age of the piece is indeterminate. The Wilson & Co. logo was kept unchanged for decades whereas the Thomas E. Wilson logo changed to Wilson-Western to Wilson Sporting Goods.

the Jerry Garcia advertisement proof is nice.
I found this on net54. Historical and pretty funny:

Spent the last 9 days in Southern California on a vacation with the family. Wanted to send a special thanks to JD and Rob for their hospitality and letting me drool all over their stupendous collections. Mr. Glovecrazy himself was even crazy enough to let my family stay at his house for a night - I'm sure his poor dogs were glad to see my children leave. You'll see some photos below of Rob helping one of my kids work on a puzzle to keep him busy - little does he know this was diversion so I could pile stuff into my suitcase. He also had similar thoughts - he led us out into the middle of the mountains hoping to leave us stranded so he could inherit my collection. 8)

In one of the June Glove of the Month posts, mikesglove mentioned his guitar collection - I think you should get together with Rob and his bass collection - you guys will have to come up with a cool glove-related band moniker - Rob shot down my suggestion of "The Glovin' Spoonful." Last picture you'll see if from the famous McCabe's Guitar Shop in Santa Monica - one of my my favorite bootleg cds came from this venue and I couldn't resist stopping in to check out the place. Check out the name of the band that played the night before I stopped in - pretty funny.
