Very interesting item Jim. Was that meant to store/display wool fabric swatches?

Yes, it is a salesman's sample case which held swatches etc and I have also seen this in some older photos on display at sporting goods store for the same purpose.

I love graphic art and display items that have to do with basbeall and this is a fine example of just that

size is 22"x5"x10"

Nice win Murph,

I was very close to bidding on that piece. I didn't though. Loved the graphics. The display is for the wool suits, correct? It's not for baseball uniforms. I still would have put some jerseys in it regardless. Congrats!

Nice stuff Murphusa. You bid on everything I have an eye on!

That bat rack was a great deal! I hemmed and hawed over that before you used BIN. I don't have that many bats though SO I passed! LOL!

Do you have any Lucky Strike ads?

Always a great week when you can pick up some vintage baseball advertisements. Condition is not great, but I can't walk away from them thinking I'll find another someday

Got this on ebay last week and I had already made arrangements with Fred L to fix the crack under the tape. Received the bat today and took off the tape and to my surprize,, not even a nic.

also picked up a mushroom bat and a 1943 Yankees Ball and still had money left for Dairy Queen
