Can anyone tell me the vintage of this ball? I'm thinking its late 1930's because I think Goldsmith was bought by MacGregor in the early 40's?
A guy I carpool with picked it up at a garage sale along with a lot of old softballs. He got the whole lot for $2.
The box's top is off but I still have it and it has the tissue with it as well.
