What would you do for tickets?

Postby rmiller » November 19th, 2008, 3:45 pm

This is a follow-up to the rivalry thing. Turns out there are people getting pretty creative trying to get tickets that can’t spend a ton on ebay, Stubub, etc. . Contractors trading work for tickets, radio stations having contests for people to do crazy things for tickets, and on and on.

So, what are some the craziest/creative things you have heard of people doing for tickets to a sporting event, and what would you do for tickets to your dream sporting event?
Give us the gate key. I have no gate key.
Fezzik, tear his arms off. Oh, you mean this gate key!

Back when I was in grade school, the local radio station had a contest for Sonics playoff tickets. I think you had to do poetry or something like that. I made some verses, won, and got to go to the Sonics vs. Jazz game. Just came across the tape of me on the radio a few days ago.
