Olympian Athletic Good Baseballs

Was wondering if anyone out there had any information on Olympian Athletic Goods Baseballs. I found 3 of these in my late great uncles attic, they are all new, one still in the box. The must be from around the late 40's to 50's based on the dates of what was stored around them. One was in his WWII foot locker - along with a wicked japanese sniper rifle. Anyway, they are labled League Special No. 240-62-1, 9 Inch, Horsehide Cover. Anyone got any history on these?
