You just got the Lebron James/Brett Favre/Ricky Henderson/Donald Trump "Pat Yourself on the Back Award." Please fight the urge of talking about yourself in the third person. Real CEC (accept no imitations).

Funny Diagram. Although I wrote it in the morning (Need to edit it) and it wasn't to be intended that way.

I like the BF/LBJ Award

Maybe a Van Halen Jump to Conclusions award
or Steve Bartman Good intentions gone bad award

Our bad ... the CEC got confused when you quoted yourself in the "recommendation" post. ;-)

Like the concept of the award, but to be honest if a caption has avoided public ridicule then it should consider itself rewarded. We are still debating awarding Best Caption, Funniest Caption, and Best Glove-related Caption at some point and would certainly enlist feedback. Will probably avoid a Missed the Mark award because the concept is still relatively new and we are still promoting participation.

Lol. Yes, I quoted myself, but was thinking of 2 different things at the time.

Continuing on:

Aw the good ole days before paternity tests.

Who's your daddy?

Well then we are really confused because we can't think of another scenario where you'd quote yourself. Please advise. CEC

The paternity one was a nice add in the later innings.

Playoffs, or Around the World Series?

Cobb: "What's you girls' favorite postion"

Cobb: "Spikes up.....that's not the only way I slide in"

Cobb: "Knuckleballs & Spitballs, you two come with me. The gal with the NASTY SPLITTER can go with Heilman" (standing in background)

Cobb: "You girls wanna meet Harry"

On a side bar, our first official N.B.O.G.C meeting has concluded and we have chosen 2 finalist for our logo. Greg was given Naughty Boy of the Night honors and gave a quite moving testimonial, peppered with obscenities,to the group. Although he did slip out after and left the rest of us to foot the bill. I think he may be the next leader of our club. Such potential.

We can't condone such rapscallion behavior, but if we did we'd like the second one better. CEC

Boy, I must have had a good time cuz I don't even remember being there. :) Thanks for the honor, tho I probably don't deserve it. Kinda like that scene from Unforgiven where William Munny has the rifle barrel in Little Bill's face and is a-fixin' to pull the trigger.
Little Bill: "I don't deserve this..."
William Munny: "Deserve's got nothing to do with it."

Heck with the CEC, I vote for the "heart glove" one.

Cobb didn't mind looking at these curves cuz he figured he'd be giving one of them a long ride.
But the ladies were hoping that the old screwball would just fade away.

The last scenes of Unforgiven were cold blooded. I think I'll watch it today. Well, since you used one of my favorite movies I'll play along.

Ty came across 3 Phillies who wanted to go below the Mendoza Line. He wanted to hit that sweet spot, but wanted to cover all the bases. So, he made a run down to the drug store for some rally caps. Unfortunately, there were none. :( So, he decided to use the only golden sombrero he had. He got back to the diamond, but found out the Phillies had left and he was no longer in scoring position.
