A Spalding Babe Ruth HRS glove sold for $2593. A low end model in nice shape. This was in a weird category. Don't fret if you missed it. It is now being flipped for a cool $15,000. What a deal!

a 1940's Rawlings George Sisler Improved model mitt sold for $99. Great markings on the face and Nice overall condition.

Another 1950's Rawlings Harvey Haddix model HH glove sold for $199. Looks to be in a little better shape than the one last month.

Some interesting gloves closed on Sunday.
A sewn web Edward Tryon Cy Williams model CW glove sold for $249. An early model made by KenWel.

A late '50's MacGregor Hank Aaron model I.S.G #1 glove sold for $242. Not sure what the model number signifies. A rare glove in nice shape.

A late '60's Rawlings model HOH-X catchers mitt sold for $697. A healthy price for that mitt.

The sewn web Spalding model PXL glove that sold as a $225 BIN last August was flipped for a massive $1723. It's no wonder with four different people submitting bids in the last 10 seconds.

A 1960 Rawlings Stan Musial model TG 12 glove sold for $379. It's an early model in pretty nice shape.

A Wards Marathon Grover Alexander model 4272 glove sold for $340. Made by Stall & Dean. Looks to be in as found condition. Probably would clean up to be a pretty nice glove.

A 1958 Spalding Sam Esposito model 1053 glove sold for $299. A one year only glove as a personal model. Given the rarity and superb condition, seems like one Derek would have interest.

Mike, once again you guessed correctly, I was able to pick up the Esposito. I've only ever seen a couple of them over the years and none have been in the condition this one is. I'm glad there weren't any other bids as the opening bid was the absolute max I was willing to spend. I'm hoping that with a little careful cleaning and conditioning it will come up real nice.

A Spalding crescent pad glove sold for $700. The seller included photos of the thumb/forefinger area showing a cut down web leaving no doubt.

A 1920's glove/mitt combo sold for $85. A Killer deal. The mitt is a TOTL Reach model with a buckle web. It could be the 12A "Double Face" or the model 6A. Both featured the "Holdfast" back. The glove is a Rawlings model B35 with a grommet web. It's a midline glove in nice shape.

A rare 1920's Goldsmith sewn web Carl Mays model glove sold for $399. The glove has seen a fair amount of use. The facs sig is still visible along the pinky. The Goldsmith patch is pretty worn. One of Goldsmith's best gloves back in the day.

A 1920's Winchester catchers mitt sold for $175. Looks to be made by Rawlings and features a snap heel flap for placing additional padding. Hunts auction, true to form with minimal photos.

A 1960's early signature Mickey Mantle model XPG6 glove sold for $216. The glove has been reworked with new patch, laces and a pretty sloppy job of new piping.

All the good stuff is found on JD's latest sales list but here are a couple offerings from ebay.
A 1940's Nokona George Cox model BM-81 base mitt sold for $99. It's in great condition and the segmented back panel is cool.

A 1910 Victor sewn web glove was delisted and sold off ebay. The last BIN price was $3499. This is a "Victor Special" model made from 1910 into the teens. It's a black leather glove in super condition. It was one of Victor's best gloves back in the day.
