A 1960 Wilson A2000 glove sold for $499. Always popular, prices on the Shooting Star models have ramped up over the last couple years.

An early Rawlings DCT base mitt sold for $35. Was gone in a heartbeat on ebay. A smokin' deal.

A Wilson pro issue model 1139 catchers mitt sold for $450. This is a knuckleballer model. Most mitts are at 33-34" circumference. This bad boy is at 37". I owned one of these for a while. They are a kick.

A 1964 Wilson A 2010 "Shooting Star" model glove sold for $225. Not a typo, the A2010 was the same pattern as the A2000. Instead of the Ansonia leather of the A2000, this one used a softer Willow cowhide. A pretty rare glove in great shape.

A really sweet 1917 Reach model 3 base mitt sold for $648. A top quality model and near mint to boot. It may have been made for only a year in white buckskin. This one was hotly contested down to the last seconds. Ebay has had a dearth of nice vintage gloves lately. They are all on JD's upcoming sales list and they will blow your mind!

A near mint Rawlings Mickey Mantle XPG20 glove with box and hang tag sold for $99. This is why you gotta love(or hate) the BIN on ebay. What a laugher!

Here's a mystery from our northern neighbors. I can make out Toronto on the tag.
This mitt is early and a beauty. It sold for $125 at Ruby Lane. Another laugher, or maybe a few tears shed.

More info on the mitt above. Here is the retail store, circa 1909.

The company logo at top left, same as the catchers mitt cloth patch. The "HAWCO" trademark!

That white Reach 1B was a real beauty! It's always fun to see new pieces like that emerge in the hobby. That Toronto mitt was cool as well - it's seems like there was a similar one with that tag a few years back but maybe I'm getting it mixed up with something else.

Hi Hal, The BIN is my abbreviation for the "Buy it Now" option sellers offer on ebay instead of auctioning an item.

A Ratsch Peerless glove sold for $325. A nice looking glove with the celluloid button. The G71 was a low end model. This one was updated with a new leather liner and piping.
