An early Reach grommet back catchers mitt sold for $320. This is the one Murph mentioned. A hefty price for a mid line youth model. The near mint condition carried the day.

A Hudson "Jimmie Reese" glove sold for $261. I wondered when one of these would come up for auction. Touted as the "Rolls Royce of Baseball Gloves".

A few lower priced gems:
A tunnel loop Tryon glove sold for $33. Looking beyond the neglect, a solid glove. A good cleaning/conditioning would do wonders for this one.

A 1920's Victor, Wright & Ditson catchers mitt sold for $65. The front would require some attention but the back is pristine. Great cloth patch location!

A Nokona 2 finger G15 "Professional Model" glove sold for $49. This is a rare one in great shape. It got scooped up pretty quickly. Love the horizontal thumb seam. That's Nokona for you!

Yeah Murph, those two HOH Rawlings were sweet. I followed them the whole time.
The Robinson model was unique. I've heard of an HOH lazy "S" "Brooks Robinson" model being in existence. This is the first I've see. JD has a similar Clemente model with the black piping and two piece palm. In the early 70's Rawlings was coming up with some specialty gloves like the red, white and blue models to celebrate their 75th anniversary. The Robinson and Clemente gloves may fit into that category. All in all a very rare glove. Surprised it wasn't bid up higher

I sold one of these a while back. Mine was nice but not dead mint

Here's another nice XPG3 that sold for $228. This Warren Spahn model is about a decade earlier than the Brooks Robinson model above.

The Rawlings 75th anniversary gloves featured the great looking Brooks Robinson XPG3 mentioned above. Their were also the Red,white and blue gloves. The Roberto Clemente model featured 5 different color schemes. This model GJ66 is the most popular. It's near mint and sold for $125
