A D&M "Hugh Critz" glove sold for $450. No markings I can see on the palm but the leather looks in good shape. Nice endorsement along the thumb.

A cool teal green "Billy Loes" model Nokona glove sold for $100. Joe mentioned some specialty gloves manufactured by Nokona in the 1950-60's. This was one.

Here are the others. All "Billy Loes" model GC. Joe stated there is possibly a blue one out there.

A sewn web white Spalding glove sold for $375. Nice markings in the pocket, intact cloth patch and overall good condition.

A 1930-40's VIM Sports "Dazzy Vance" model glove sold for $125. It didn't last long at that price. The glove was made by KenWel and the tied back feature is not common. Looks in need of some TLC but the factory markings and overall condition is very nice.

A 1930's Spalding "Babe Ruth" glove sold for $850. A lower end model, homemade finger lacing. The free shipping was key.

An early Reach base mitt sold for $99. Shows a lot of wear and tear. When you see that style wrist strap, it's a top of the line model.

An 1958 model Rawlings Mantle MMP glove sold for $141. Somewhat rare with the anniversary patch.

Interesting to compare this early model MMP(left) to the later MMP version I posted last month. Quite a change!

An early VWD base mitt. Here's the ebay photo.

One would need a bit of experience to suss this one out from the crap photos. I cleaned up the images to get the whole story. It may be the black leather "Sticker" model. A pretty nice mitt for $79.

Nice one :) A lot of British slang came over with the British Invasion in my formative years. Not the 1776 one nor 1812. Ain't that old. Lol

A Rawlings "Herb Score" model XPG3 glove sold for $100. Kind of a rare glove, made for only a couple of years.

A Rawlings "Mickey Mantle" model XPG6 glove sold for $40. It's a little beat up but salvageable.

A Spalding "Al Dark" model 1003 glove sold for $125. Spaldings top glove back in the late '50's. It's in great shape.

An early crescent pad mitt sold for $1403 at Hunt Auctions. Bridgeport Athletic Mfg. on the cloth patch. The company originally was an arms retailer in Connecticut named the Bridgeport Gun Implement Co. A new entity, Bridgeport Athletic Mfg. bought out BGI and relocated the main offices to New York. Looks like they went out of business circa 1910.

A D&M "Gus Suhr" model 600 base mitt sold for $200. A rare, top of the line mitt from the late 30's. It features the last version of the D&M patch, finger guard, built-in thumb loop & transition webbing. Great overall condition and nice markings on the front. A little cleaning/conditioning and this would be a beauty.

A 1950's Nokona "Cal Abrams" model glove w/picture box sold for $1060. A perfect storm of motivated bidders, stellar condition and rarity. One of the first "Ristankor" model Nokona's that have the "patent applied for" serial number stamp.

A 1930's Stall & Dean "Woody English" three finger model glove sold for $460. Another rare one with clear markings on the front.

Man, I'm getting priced out of Nokonas in the box! That's a good thing. Couldn't help myself on the S&D 3. It's only the second one I have seen in 25 years. All over it!
