Nice to start the month with a few rarities. A 1920's Christy Mathewson glove sold for $1750. It was made by Goldsmith for the retailer Folsom Arms & Sporting Goods. At least that is what the logo stamped looks like. The glove is in great condition.

A rare 1930's Wilson "Phil Todt" base mitt and box sold for $175. I didn't think this would last long, The mitt appears to be near mint. I like the webbing.

A 1940's "Dick Bartell" model sold for $127. I like this one. I think it is an OK Mfg. brand.

An interesting mitt snuck through for $35. It looks to be a Stall & Dean mitt made for another brand. The cloth patch is missing but the elongated stitching shape narrows it down to possibly three. It could also be some private label brand. Cool mitt though.

A 1920-30's W.H. Brine "Topper Rigney" glove sold for $350. The W.H. Brine Co. was not associated with the James Brine Co. although the two men were related.

A 1930's Ed Maynard glove sold for $898. It looks to be near mint. It was made for B&B Sporting Goods.

A 1920's Spalding model 7-0 catchers mitt sold for $112. it would be nice if the other tag was present. The mitt is in great condition otherwise.

A 1920's KenWel catchers mitt sold for $400. It features a stylish leather finger guard and an early cloth patch.

A circa 1940 Rawlings "Bill Doak" model H glove and box/hang tag sold for $225. It didn't last long on ebay. It's pretty nice.

A 1930-40's Pennant glove sold for $165. The back is pretty cool looking.

A 1940's KenWel "Harry Gumbert" glove and box sold for $299. The glove is pretty nice, the box has seen better days.

A sewn web "DeBeers" glove sold for $160. Pretty rare brand. I like the chain & anchor logo patch.

A Stall & Dean base mitt sold off ebay. It's a lower line model but the quick release arrow head wrist strap and S&D patch are a plus!
