Another nice one to start the month. A 1920's base mitt sold for $1705 with a great looking sewn web, crescent pad, buckle back glove thrown in to sweeten the deal. It was a funny listing.

A Wilson basemitt sold for $357. This is one of the early ones and features the oval Wilson logo patch, patented wrist strap and sewn web. You can see a vintage repair to the wrist strap. Later versions added reinforcing stitching for that design flaw. The mitt is also great looking with black leather and white piping.

A vintage catchers mitt sold for $97. It is missing the cloth patch but was made by Stall & Dean. It's a pretty early mitt with the quick release buckle and arrow head wrist strap. Funny the seller hadn't bothered to showcase that feature. Overall, the mitt is in good shape.

A Reach sewn web glove sold for $225. A couple of flaws but when have you seen a burgundy full web for sale.

A Spalding "Rocky Colavito" personal model 1141 glove sold for $175. A popular glove, same as the Rawlings Herb Score model.

A 1940's Rawlings "Merrill May" glove sold for $125. A unique wrist strap, great looking patch and triple web model. Could stand a good cleaning/conditioning but looks to be in nice shape.

A 1940's Rawlings "Pepper Martin" model 400V sold for $66. I like the long pocket/shorty fingers. The glove has a Leacock and a worn Rawlings patch. The glove is a popular model and seems pretty nice, not sure why it didn't go higher.

A rare Vim Radio/Sports "George Selkirk" glove sold for $114. One of the few full double laced gloves from KenWel in the 1940's.

A Stall & Dean "Grover Alexander" Speed model glove sold for $375. A collector favorite and looks to be in good shape.

A Wright, Ditson & Victor basemitt sold for $53. Kind of a sleeper I guess and in need of some TLC. This is stamped the "Sticker" model and except for a torn cloth patch, it's in good overall condition.

A 1960's Rawlings "Mickey Mantle" model XPG6 HOH glove sold for $256. It looks to be in great condition although the leather looks dry as a bone.

A 1920's J.C Higgins catchers mitt sold for $191. It was made by D&M and was the top of the line "Double Palm" model. It shows a fair amount of wear but still nicely intact.
