I also saw that. You just have to carefully unlace the perimeter, take the old eyelet out and replace it with a new one. I have a collection of different size eyelets to match up with the original ones. I have an antiquing solution that darkens the new brass eyelet. I also have a crimping tool to set the eyelets back in place. If the hole in the leather has been gouged out too much, you have to glue a backing leather piece inside and redo the hole with a hole punch tool.

A Goldsmith "Hans Wagner" model KB glove failed to meet its reserve. It is a decent glove with the exterior leather in good shape and the patch and factory markings all there. The interior leather was a different story with some busted seams. A fair number of collectors won't tolerate that. Coupled with the reserve price turn-off, the auction was no bueno. It has since been relisted.
