A Reach "Babe Ruth" "Home Run Special" model RF2 glove sold for $149. Looks to be near mint. It was in a weird category and got overlooked. It was also a BIN. Smokin' deal! Lefty will probably have it for sale soon if not already gone.

A Spalding sewn web "World Series Model" AA1 glove got up to $625 but did not meet its reserve. The white leather was in great shape as was the inner liner. The cloth patch was threadbare and unreadable but some of the pocket factory stamps were there.

An Alex Taylor sewn web glove sold for $227. Some wear to the liner but overall a pretty nice glove. Not many full webs out there with that brand.

This souvenir item from the 1911 meeting of the "National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues" is really super. It sold for $275. It is a small glove and ball with box made by A.J. Reach. The box is covered with the Reach logo graphics and both the glove and ball are stamped. Pretty Cool!

Right you are! The first auction was a quick BIN and a bargain. Boxed gloves are really heating up right now. Here are a few more broken up from the Leland's lot of boxed gloves.

The mini glove was a straight auction when it went up. I had a bid on it for more than the buy it now price ended up being. I have the same set but mine doesn't have the box. Oh well.

The Spalding "World Series Model" AA1 glove made it to $565 the second time around. Pretty typical of ebay as the thrill wears off.

More boxed gloves from Lelands. A Reach model OOW glove/box sold for $535. Great looking glove. The box has seen better days but had a nice look to it.

A Kurtz "Christy Mathewson" glove sold for $1110. The factory stamps are really strong on the front. The glove is a Goldsmith made "Spiderweb" model. It was an inexpensive, youth model put out celebrating some star players of the past.

A rare KenWel zipper back catchers mitt circa 1928 sold for $355. It is probably the "Muddy Ruel" model. The photos of any factory stamps on the front were inconclusive.

A circa 1928 KenWel "Dazzy Vance" glove sold for $130. It shows some wear but looks all intact with the leather holding up well. The two cloth patches were a little dirty but in surprisingly good shape.
