A 1915-20's Reach base mitt sold for $141. it's in good overall condition and would probably look great with some TLC. No markings on the front that I could see but the wrist strap is the beefy, stitched style that Reach used on their better models.

A Reach Babe Ruth "Home Run Special" glove hang tag sold for $535. It's pretty nice. One like it sold a couple years ago.

A 1940-50's Wilson "Ted Williams" model A2110 glove sold for $255. Looks close to near mint. Advisory Staff markings in the pocket not often seen.

A stellar pair of Goldsmith gloves sold for $225. Correctly listed as handball gloves, they do have an interesting baseball link. The light red finger seam reinforcements on the front were an invention by Bert Kennedy in 1926. Kennedy was a founder of Ken-Wel Sporting Goods. Kennedy designed that feature specifically for handball gloves. That design had its roots 15 years earlier on some of The J.A. Peach baseball gloves and showed up in Schmelzer Arms and Moore-Evans retail catalogs. Brett at one time had a nice Schmelzer Arms full web glove with such a design.

A MacGregor "Frank Robinson" model PBC glove. The godfather called and made an offer the seller couldn't refuse. If I wasn't slowing down my collecting adventures, I would have been all over this one. One of the last of the USA made MacG's, just a beautiful glove plus green's my favorite color.

A Pennant "Lou Gehrig" mitt sold for $637. It has made the rounds on ebay, first sold by someone named "tobaccoboy" and posted here in July then put on consignment with "probstein". Overall, a really nice mitt and endorsement.

99% of these photos are from ebay auctions. The gloves are mostly in the Glove-Baseball section under Vintage Sports Memorabilia. Here is a sample link: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=&_osacat=50126&_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=&_sacat=50126
There are search windows if looking for something specific. It is pretty easy to navigate. There is another ebay category, Gloves and Mitts under Sporting Goods. Here is a sample link:http://www.ebay.com/sch/Gloves-Mitts/16030/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw&_dcat=16030&rt=nc&LH_ItemCondition=3000&_trksid=p2045573.m1684 A lot of modern gloves here so I go to the left side menu and check the pre-owned box that narrows it down a bit for me. Other than that, there are the auction houses, Hunts, Lelands, Heritage, Mears that have gloves from time to time. Just Google the name. Hope that helps.

Here's an interesting one to finish out the month. It only lasted an hour on ebay and sold for $125. It's a full web "King Patent" style glove. It doesn't look to have any brand info on it although Simmons put out a similar model. It has cloth piping and the finger seams don't look diverted so probably not a Spalding/Reach. The curious thing about it is the snap button wrist strap closure. The glove looks to be in decent overall condition.
