The highlight last week were several vintage gloves and mitts from the same seller. Some were hard to find models and all were well photographed and described in the ebay listing. My three selections are collector favorites and brought out spirited bidding despite some condition issues.
A mid 20'S Wilson "Black Beauty" model 607 sold for $118. The markings on the face are pretty strong. I didn't think Jared would let this one go unnoticed.
A Reach "King Patent" model sold for $243. A shot inner liner. At least the exterior leather is in fine shape.
A 1920's Spalding Three finger model sold for $284. I think this is an early version of the model TG with a unique sewn web. Normally this would mean a high ticket glove but some damage and deterioration of the leather kept the price relatively low.
