The highlight last week were several vintage gloves and mitts from the same seller. Some were hard to find models and all were well photographed and described in the ebay listing. My three selections are collector favorites and brought out spirited bidding despite some condition issues.

A mid 20'S Wilson "Black Beauty" model 607 sold for $118. The markings on the face are pretty strong. I didn't think Jared would let this one go unnoticed.

A Reach "King Patent" model sold for $243. A shot inner liner. At least the exterior leather is in fine shape.

A 1920's Spalding Three finger model sold for $284. I think this is an early version of the model TG with a unique sewn web. Normally this would mean a high ticket glove but some damage and deterioration of the leather kept the price relatively low.

I couldn't help myself Mike. It looked so lonely posted all by itself. And I've got a lot of its relatives here wondering where it's been for so long. I guess it's no secret that I've got a soft spot for a good Wilson glove. I'm sure in conversation I'm known as "the guy who buys up all the TEW's".

A 1958 Rawlings Stan Musial TM20 HOH mitt w/hang tag sold for $495. I actually like this one better than the TM45 mitt sold last month mainly for the anniversary patch. This base mitt is also new/old stock and really fabulous.

A lot of glove boxes sold recently and some pretty rare examples. My favorite was the Lippman's Tool Shop from Detroit which sold for $63.

A Rawlings Mickey Mantle model MM8 picture box sold for $2495. Box was in good shape with photos on all sides and top. Probably the ultimate for a Mantle collector
