A 1940's KenWel "Lou Brissie" glove with Nokona box sold for $203. The glove is mint and if the winner had the mitt for the box then its a nice two for one.

Here's the mitt. It's an unused Ray Dabek. Had it forever and happy to finally get the box for it. The mint Brissie was a very pleasant bonus! it's probably the tallest Ken Wel I have ever seen.

A mid to late teens D&M "Imperator" model base mitt sold for a best offer on ebay. The cream colored leather is in good shape with most of the factory stamps still visible in the pocket. It's got the classic D&M horseshoe back design. I like the full perimeter lacing.

Two Reach "King Patent" models. The first sold for $473. It's in well used condition but surprisingly intact. The inner liner has been modified by the ball player.

The second one is a model GA and it sold for $455. The markings on the face are stellar. One can see the leather is stiff from a lot of use and then being stored for decades. The web was detached and repaired some time ago.

A mid 1930's D&M model 600 base mitt sold for $273. The leather is in great condition and most of the markings are clear. you can just make out the "Gus Suhr" endorsement near the heel. A really stylish mitt with the finger and thumb guards.

A 1930's Reach "Dizzy Dean" glove sold for $466. The glove overall is in pretty good shape. The Dean endorsement on the pinky is so big it's hard to miss it. Above the Reach logo is stamped "Genuine Reaco Leather". Not sure which model number. Dean was a popular player in has day and one of the few crossover endorsers between Reach and Spalding.

There were guite a few boxed gloves and mitts this week on ebay. My favorite was this Cooper Weeks "Black Diamond" three finger glove. Nice box and the glove appears to be of good quality and near mint condition. It sold for $91.

No, that's just the bid. The final w/buyers premium was $8488. I thought the Hunt Auction estimate of $1000-2000 was way low. The last one (a tan model) sold at an REA auction for about $7500 and this one is nicer. It is white buckskin with leather piping and was one step down from their top model. The condition is stellar.

A circa 1960 unused Rawlings "Stan Musial" model TM45 base mitt sold for $600. This is a Heart of Hide model and comes with the hang tag. Probably the nicest TM45 example out there.

A 1920's Rawlings base mitt sold for $152. No markings evident on the face but a nice patch on the back. It's also got an intact buckle web, somewhat rare on Rawlings mitts.

A Saggahew brand glove sold for $192. A private label brand not often seen. The exterior leather is in nice shape, good markings on the front and an intact grommet web. The inner lining shows a lot of wear.
