An "Earl Clark" model three finger glove sold for $460. Wouldn't be surprised if this one is a first one found with this endorser. Possibly made by Goldsmith for the Knights of Columbus. There is a light "K-C" logo in the pocket. Glove looks like it had only light use.

A Dubow/Marathon "Joe Cronin" model glove sold for $108. It's a companion glove to the popular "Johnny Mostil" version with the patent reinforced finger seams.

A late 1960's Rawlings "Mickey Mantle" model DCT base mitt sold for $166. The mitt shows obvious wear but not many of the HOH versions out there.

A Rawlings "Harvey Haddix" model HH glove sold for $432. The glove is in nice shape and looks to have only moderate use. Tough to find one without obvious flaws. It's a big 'ol glove and Rawlings top glove in the mid 1950's. The pocket markings are all strong and "The Kitten" model is a collector favorite.

A 1940's Rawlings "Bill Doak" model 5BD with box sold for $475. The glove is mint and the box shows wear but is in decent shape. Strong prices for both the Doak and HH model.

An early crescent pad glove sold for $900 on ebay. Seems in really nice shape. No manufacturer evident.

A sewn web Pennant brand glove sold for $175. Made from a soft calfskin leather, it has seen little use and shows off a nice, rich color. Markings on the front are clear.

A sewn web Bon Tober glove sold for $162. From a seldom seen glove manufacturer. The glove itself shows normal wear and tear from use but the markings on the front were still there and overall the glove had good eye appeal and brought out spirited bidding.

This William Read & Sons base mitt sold for a quick $30 BIN on ebay. Not sure how the manufacturer was identified because the photos were all deleted. The description stated the buckle strap was missing on the back. Still quite a bargain.

Arrrghhh. You'd think being a stay at home dad would be ideal for finding deals like this! Doh, why do I insist on playing outside all the time. Thanks for ruining my day! 8)

If I remember right, you already have the nicest Wm. Read base mitt in the hobby. :)

An early Spalding model 6/0 catchers mitt sold for $147. Really nice overall condition, intact cloth patch and factory markings on the face. The buckle web is functional. This is a big mitt and one of Spalding's best back in the day.

A Vandervoort Sporting Goods "Paul Dean" glove sold for $100. Made by KenWel and in pretty nice shape.

A rare Rawlings "Billy Southworth" glove sold for $112. Interesting 1930 patented adjustable web with patent number stamped on the front. Normally a bigger ticket item but there was some damage and the overall condition on this one was below average.

Three to finish out the month.
A 1940's Goldsmith "Gene Corbett" base mitt seems in great condition. Markings on the front all intact, "No Rip" thumb design and overall high quality construction.

A pretty cool Rawlings "Sherm Lollar" catchers mitt with the "Turtle Back" design. Yogi Berra used the Spalding version of the "Turtle Back" for a time. The mitt is in nice shape.

A 1950's Sonnett "Eddie Stanky" glove. Dubbed the "Double Play" model for the joined middle/ring finger construction. This one shows a fair amount of wear but still an interesting design.
