A spiffy 1940's Geo. Reach Co. "Bruce Campbell" glove sold for $125. Super condition in black and tan leather. Love the super wide wrist strap.

A KenWel "Edd Roush" glove was withdrawn from ebay. Rats, I had a bid ready for that one. There was another Roush glove sold earlier on ebay but this is the desirable one (even though the condition is not stellar) because of the patent "NeverRip" finger stall seams.

An early full web buckle back model glove sold for $365. Shows quite a bit of wear and tear but looks complete. There is an interesting extra leather pad at the inner palm. It looks to be sewn in at the heel. The full web/buckle back combination has always been popular.

A KenWel sewn web glove sold for $205. Its big claim to fame was a super cloth patch from a landmark glove manufacturer. A late teens to early twenties model, this one had a nice logo button but no other factory markings. Most KenWel models with the very early cloth patch do well. The Art Nouveau lettering and the funky/antique vibe of the patch is one of my favorites. This glove overall seems in pretty decent shape.

A Goldsmith "Walter Johnson" glove sold for a best offer of $600-650. It is just great looking and in near mint condition. Goldsmith had their top of the line gloves with the Mathewson, Wagner, Johnson endorsement, and also the "Famous Player" JG and RF series which were youth models of the same endorsers. This one is the JG12. The "Spider Web" is cool.

A Spalding "Earl Combs" glove and box sold for $995. Its a youth model but appears to be mint condition and could be the nicest condition glove of Combs, a tough pre-war HOF endorser.

A mid 1960's Wilson "Nelson Fox" model 2020 glove sold for $325. There was some stamp inside the liner that indicated a pro issue model. A high quality glove in every way.

A Spalding "Babe Ruth" model glove sold for $265. No mention of the endorsement in the auction title or description but the photos show a big, bold endorsement along the pinky.

A Rawlings "Johnny Groth" model JG sold for around $250 as a best offer. May be the best example in the hobby.

A 1940's Spalding Marvel "Joe DiMaggio" model 133 glove w/box sold for $1580. Glove appears to be unused and the box is in very nice shape. It's a big glove with triple tunnel webbing, great factory markings and nice features such as the "Seamless Thumb" design.

This one went quickly in the early morning hours. A D&M "Vince DiMaggio" model sold for $24. It's a a early & rare version with the "Snare" web popularized by many MacGregor Goldsmith gloves and mitts.

An interesting 1920's "King Patent" style glove sold for $107. Definitely not a Spalding/Reach model. There is a diamond shaped logo in the palm with a stylized "G" in the center. No idea what mfg. that might be. The glove has some condition issues such as seam separation, holes in the palm and a missing tunnel loop web which may have kept the price down.

A 1930-40's "Lefty Grove" glove sold pretty quickly for $75. it may be a BenLee brand.
