I saw a 1902 Reach catalog that had a list of players (Tenney included) that used and endorsed a certain base mitt. It was the "Reach Special" model. The first time I saw a Fred Tenney stamped model in a catalog was 1924-25.
A unique and rare Victor catchers mitt sold for $380 on ebay. Bert Rogers, the designer for Victor, patented a two piece face in the early 1900's. This interesting lefty version is amazingly intact and problem free except for the cut-down wrist strap. The Victor logo is very nice.
