A J.C. Higgins "J. Hans Wagner" glove sold for a best offer under the asking price of $780. A clear endorsement on the front and a nice full web model. The glove looks to be pretty high quality and in decent shape. No loose seams which is always a plus. It has potential to be cleaned up to display a lot better. The sewn inner palm is cool.

Two gloves that sold pretty cheap at the Hunt Louisville Slugger Auction this past weekend. A D&M G44 Walter Johnson ended at $300 and a white leather Spalding Dizzy Dean with Rainey web hammered at $400. Hunt leaves a lot of money on the table not showing multiple views of the gloves.

What you say about the photos is right. One would think a photo of the back of each glove would increase interest. Also, many companies coordinate live online bidding with live on site bidding. Hunt Auctions has always seemed behind the times with their presentation.

An early full web buckle back glove sold for $260. Felt lined model with the rare quick release buckle and arrow head wrist strap. The glove has seen a fair amount of use with the cloth patch missing from the back of the middle finger stall. Possibly a Stall & Dean or Wm. Read & Sons glove. No markings on the front.
