A crescent webless "workmans" glove sold at auction for $1100. Looks like a Reach/Spalding but no manufacturer ID present.

Congrats on your first Ruth, Jon, that one's a nice one and at a good price. I've seen that model in less condition go for a lot more. My first couple of Ruths you could barealy see the endorsement, but of course in a cruel way the Homerun Special stamping was clear as day. Darn you Spalding and Reach (and Stall & Dean for Speed models)!

I followed the Ruth glove on ebay. You got a nice one Jon and also glad you joined the forum.

This 1960's Rawlings "Mickey Mantle" model MM3 sold for $154. The glove was in lightly used condition and is a seldom seen MM model. Nice picture pocket.

Pretty cool looking Stall & Dean "Sam Chapman" glove with the "fishtail" wrist strap. No webbing left but looks like it could have been something like a "Rainey Trap" or intricate tunnel webbing. The 16 grommets used to anchor the web is interesting in itself. Looks in good condition despite a fair amount of play. S&D came up with some crazy glove designs in the 1930-40's. This one was pretty much a bargain at $60.
