A 1930's Spalding "Sam Leslie" model base mitt sold for $148. Expensive in its day and rarely seen now. Top of the line quality. Has the unique snap back wrist strap that Spalding/Reach used from the 1920's till the 1940's on some of their top mitts. I like the vintage athletic tape on the home made web. To me that adds a lot of character to the mitt.

A 1920's Spalding model BXB "Well Broke" base mitt sold for $129. Lasted a few hours on ebay but too nice to stay for long. Great markings and a buckle web model.
