The Ken Wel is pretty beat with the early cloth patch as the only thing going for it. If this glove had the patented diverted seam "Never Rip" back panel, then the reserve would have been met in my opinion.

Do you think the lining in the Ken-Wel sewn web is original? From the photo, it appears to be in better shape than the exterior leather.

The glove and lining seem compatible, both worn to some extent.

A 1940's Sonnett "Joe DiMaggio" two finger glove sold for $152. Interesting "The Lock" web akin to the MacG SG "Snare" model.

Lost in this grouping of 1940-50's gloves was this nice crescent TOC mitt. The group sold for $132 on ebay. The early mitt wasn't the thumbnail image of ebay glove listings so probably got passed over by a lot of collectors, including me. A good find for a diligent collector

An early catchers mitt sold for $37 at auction. Small sized but in super condition and featuring a grommet web and hook & eye wrist cincher.

A Higgins "Jesse Haines" glove sold for $158 on ebay. I thought it would go for more but the condition could best be described as "barn fresh" and not in a good sense. It looks all there and could be rehabbed back into the $200-300 range with some work. The three finger pre-war models are very popular as is the "Haines" model for St. Louis collectors.

Looks to be in pretty nice shape. I'd love a crack at softening it up. :D

This Wright & Ditson crescent catchers mitt sold for $525 on ebay. An early one with the W&D cloth patch. Not a top model but looks to be in real good condition.

Another vintage mitt from the same seller. This one had the patent heel lacing and buckle web remnant. The front looks so good and the back is so funky but who could pass up the cardboard wrist strap. This one was played to death then resurrected and played with some more. Worth every cent of $25.

Agree that W&D is a nice looking mitt but definitely not a top line model.

This Rawlings model HH sold in May for a BIN of $75. The pictures were bad and virtually no description but still lasted only a few minutes on ebay.

The winner just resold the "Harvey Haddix" glove for a tidy $269. The glove has seen light use.
