One would think it would be easier for D&M to put it on the thumb like Spalding/Reach. Partially covering it up on the model 704 seems pretty wacky.

This glove pretty much flew under the radar. No detailed description on ebay so it went for $34. It actually is a very nice Treman King brand "Pinky Whitney" model. Someone with a good eye saw the logo in the pocket and cloth patch on the back.

Last month the seller was originally selling a wooden stand using this glove as a prop. I thought, the hell with the stand, what about the glove. It is a rare Rawlings "Ron Hunt" model XPG9 that recently sold for $485 on ebay. It near mint and brought out a lot of bidders.

Next is a Rawlings "Stan Musial" model SM6 that sold for $99. Only lasted a few minutes on ebay. Looks to be unused and much better condition than the one that sold for $206 last month.

A 1940's Hutch "Ival Goodman" model 56 glove sold for $99 on ebay. The glove is in stellar condition.

A 1940-50's Rawlings "George McQuinn" model T80 Trapper sold for $92 on ebay. The mitt is in super shape and has my favorite Rawlings cloth patch design.

A 1940's glove of unknown mfg. sold for $107 on ebay. What sold the glove was the unique webbing similar to a "Rainey Trap" web. There looks to be an endorsement in the pocket but I couldn't make it out. Pretty cool looking glove.

A 1940's Hutch "Harry Craft" model F44 sold for $114 on ebay. Glove appears to be near mint or better. Super markings in the pocket, "Dubow" patent outseams on the back fingers and a blazing cloth patch with a "Patent applied for" stamp. A killer glove, top of the line in its day.

A 1950's Wilson "Harvey Kuenn" model 2060 sold for $177 on ebay. A top glove in its day and in great shape but how it outsold the Hutch model above amazes me. Maybe the major manufacturers have a broader appeal, but I would take the Hutch any day.

A 1930-40's Wards "Lefty Grimm" model sold for $100 on ebay. Great eye appeal with deep markings on the front. Stylish design with sturdy buckle back and partial tunnel loop web.

I sold the Grimm glove back in November for $160.00 and saw it listed on Friday. Brought it back for $100.00 . Now if I could do that with all the gloves I sell!

The Kuenn was one of mine. Sweet glove and in nice condition but not mint. It had a large number of followers all week. I find that the professional or top of the line models of the major manufacturers get more people looking at them, in general. It is a really nice glove but I was surprised that it sold for $177. The black Reach that is the first listing of the month was mine about 6 months ago. I don't remember what I sold it for but I don't think it was $80.

The Wilson model 605 was a great buy at $60. The small Wilson tag is pretty cool.

I follow newsouthsports auctions. A lot of collectors like a glove model that was possibly used by MLB players, such as the Wilson 2060. As far as the black George Reach BOL model, it did sell for $79.99 as a BIN from seller goalee.

Speaking of BIN auctions, a Rawlings "Bobby Avila" model BA sold for $110. The glove is in great shape. Interesting notched pinky called the "Speed Trap".

Another nice Hutch glove sold on ebay for an undisclosed best offer. This one is a "Warren Spahn" model 58M in near mint condition. It was Hutch's top glove in the 1950's. Features the wrist snugger and X-lacing on the fingers and if I remember right, were really good size gloves

A Crescent Brand "Al Simmons" model glove sold for $80 on ebay. Glove is in good shape. I like the logo in the pocket. The Crescent Brand may be related to the firearms manufacturer of the same name.

A full web Spalding glove sold for $204 on ebay. The tiny thumbnail photos didn't help the seller that's for sure. The glove is really nice and the buyer got a pretty good deal. The white leather is still distinct and the rolled leather piping and a cloth patch are intact.
