Despite the sellers description, there is no "Chief" Meyers stamped endorsement on this mitt. Seller verified my query since I could not see a hint of anything on the face of the mitt..http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... TQ:US:1123

This D&M sewn web sold for $283 - not a high quality glove but looks to be in great shape.

That Rawlings BB box with the Model J Doak that sold a few days ago is not a Bob Bo Bowman box (G490), but a '30s Bosey Berger box; this glove was one of Rawlings' top gloves in the late '30s. A good example of the Bosey glove from my collection is on Jim's site in the Glove Library. Rawlings gloves from before WW2 are tough to find so I am haapy to get that lot even with the condition problems.

A nice find on ebay. A black leather 1" web glove sold for $30. Looks to be a full size model with leather piping and in great shape with just a little cleaning needed. No manufacturer mentioned

A 1930's double laced "Bucky Walters" glove sold for $130 on ebay. I always liked this style. No manufacturer mentioned but could be a J.C. Higgins model. Nice glove!

A vintage "Jimmy Foxx" base mitt sold for $167 on ebay. Possibly a Spalding model. Listing description and pictures vague on the pocket stampings and other details. Looks to have been relined and new rolled piping at the wrist opening.

Got the glove in the mail today - it is a Belknap - the bell and NAP are faint but there. Fingers are very long on glove.

A motley group of vintage gloves sold for $435 on ebay. A couple of gloves worth mentioning from this group.

First, a pretty nice white leather D&M full web.

Second, a white leather Wilson model 605 could be a great find for the winning bidder. The glove overall is in good shape and the markings in the pocket still seem somewhat intact. This was the "Babe Ruth" model for some periods in the 1920's.

This Rogers Peet sewn web sold as a buy it now at $39. Came across just a few minutes too late. Oh well - at least they were out of New York and not New England.
