I feel this one deserves mentioning. A really nice Reach 1 inch web with two toned fingers sold at an online site for $400. A very nice buy for a lucky collector.

So here's the way this Wilson 625 turned out. I'll be the first to admit, I made a mistake on this one. The separated vintage repair on the welt between the thumb and the pocket may be a little too much to do anything with. Live and learn. As it turned out shortly after spotting the 625 I spotted another Wilson fielder's glove from the same era.The only problem with the 614 was that it had broken laces in the web. I found it listed with gloves and mitts with no reference to vintage or memorabilia. Its condition is about as nice as any 614 I've ever owned. The Williams signature jumps right out. Got it for the same $50 as I spent on the 625 plus a reasonable shipping charge. I cleaned them both up this week and relaced the web on the Teddy glove.

Thanks guys, and I agree, Mike, those 614s are great (and really any of the low number 40s Wilsons). Did you win that OK 3? I've missed out on some real nice leather this month including this Gene Clough Nokona 3 that takes me back to the early days. It went for a reasonable $83 considering its such a stunner.

Speaking of certain models that I've been pulled to over the years, I was able to win these two which turned out real nice, a Nokona G58 "Haymaker" model 3-finger for $110 and a Ken-Wel 564 Extra Large" Hank Gumbert for $130.

Hi Rob, I didn't go after the OK 3. I wasn't sure when exactly it was from. Looks like a late 30's/early 40's glove. I like my 3's older. I just noticed that the OK Dickey is back listed again. I wonder what that's about. I'm just might go after it this time. :D

I had feeling that the white Goldsmith in the group wouldn't be able stay under the the radar through auction end. This grouping reminds me of the early days of antique flea marketing where you would come across a bucket of import lefty gloves and go through them all in hopes of finding that diamond in the rough (often priced the same as the others). This group went for just over $200.

Speaking of groups, I also got a kick out of this $42 instant collection to give Jim a run for his money (as if).

This Stall & Dean Grover Clevleand Alexander sold for $342 after BP in this month's Hunts Auction. Strong bidding when you can't see the front of the glove.

This Wilson glove mold sold for $125 on eBay - pretty cool item, especially if you have nice glove with the matching model number to go with it.

Thanks Guys, and nice win on that crescent Mike ... that should have gone for a lot more! Heading out to Australia tomorrow so this is likely my last post for a while. I'd appreciate it if you guys could finish out the month for me.

From the same seller as the Charles Dudley was this Goldsmith full with nice label and contrasting web color that went for $295.
